About. 

The UIC- Unico Information Centre started as an idea in 2009 after seeing that Verena was previously war and poverty stricken that led to the youth being ignorant and disadvantage in ITC and other life skills. UIC have been carried by United Communities-Imbizo until in 2013 when it registered as NPO and affiliated under United Communities- imbizo. The main reason for the centre is to provide young people with relevant information and to equip them with all the relevant skills ranging from computer skills, communication skills, entrepreneurial skills and job preparation skills, health awareness and other integrated interventions that seek to empower the youth.

Young people who are not ignorant of factors that affects their lives but who works together to support each other and come up with solutions.An environment that discover and enhance talent within the communities and propels them to greater heights.A place to learn without fear of being discriminated but with appreciation to be loved and appreciated

UIC have been carried by United Communities-Imbizo until in 2013 when it registered as NPO and affiliated under United Communities- imbizo. The main reason for the centre is to provide young people with relevant information and to equip them with all the necessary skills ranging from computer skills, communication skills, entrepreneurial skills and job preparation skills. To impact change and transform communities UIC addresses the needs of young people holistically, from social needs, emotional needs, spiritual needs and physical needs by incorporating all our service into one programme. This are part of our Project. 

 

Sinobuntu After-Care- is a programme that addresses poverty by cooking warm meals for families and young children who cannot afford to live above the poverty line.

Sinethjudu edu-care- is an early childhood development programme that develop young children to be ready to tackle new curriculums that are ever changing in our education qualification system. Also to allow them to learn by being children who play more and explore more.

Ntuthuko Health centre- this health programme deal face to face with all health issues young people day to day basis ranging from HIV/AIDS, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, VCT AND BASIC HEALTH INFORMATION
